Pandan Chocolate Chiffon

Pandan Chocolate Chiffon for my cousin JC :) Using the Pandan chiffon recipe then remove some of the batter and add chocolate powder and Chocolate paste.

Looks really beautiful...best I've seen so far. Chiffon cake is always my favourite....so light and delicious. I can eat the whole cake :P

Your pandan chocolate chiffon have a beautiful marble in it. And so coincidence I made a marble cake too, however, not as nice as yours :)

Pretty chiffon! your question about the sponge cake for fondant - it's better to use butter cakes for structure...unless it is butter sponge i think...definitely not the asian/local sponge cake.

Did you just divide the batter into 2 and add chocolate paste and powder to 1 portion? Is it difficult to mix? MH

MH, Yes i added chocolate powder into a portion. Simply melt the coco powder in some hot water (not too much) and add into the plain batter. Hope this helps.
